Creepy Crawles Phobia with Thought Field Therapy

The Case Notes of Rosie and Katie are an example of how Assim Ishaque has used THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY to resolve their fear for spiders and mice respectatively. The names of the client have been changed to respect their privacy.

THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY CASE NOTE - Rosies' Story

(have no fear..no pictures of spiders on this website!)
Spiders would make her skin crawl. Rosie was terrified. She could only just manage to talk about her fear and when she did, she became tense and stressed. She was afraid of spiders from a very young age, but as an intelligent and articulate person, she felt very silly, but did not know how to control her fear.

Initially she was a little sceptical about THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY, but was willing to give it a go. During the first part of the session, she began feeling more comfortable with the idea of spiders. During the second session, she started giggling and laughing. But by the final part of the session, she was smiling and pleasantly surprised by how she was feeling.

A day after the treatment, I received the following email from Rosie:
"Oh my word - I have just got back from an business event and there was a spider hanging from the ceiling on a cobweb and it was about to land on the shoulder of the lady I was talking to, I picked it up and threw it away (not killing it!).

The spider was only tiny, but I didn't get scared - that's weird!

I guess thanks are in order so Thank you!"

THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY CASE NOTE - Katie's Story
Susan is an intelligent and successful business person who has an irrational fear of mice. She had only seen one a couple of times in her life and knew that her fear was completely ridiculous. But the thought of mice or seeing pictures or images on the TV, would cause her a great deal of anxiety.

After administering the treatment I asked Susan how she felt about mice, she responded: 'I want to pick one up in my hand'.
